Events

Being a writer can feel like the best job in the world when the words flow and you're inside the story you're creating, but it can also be challenging, lonely, and frustrating when the story feels out of reach or the characters or dialogue are flat on the page. At times like these, I get inspiration and motivation from being around other writers who understand the highs and the lows of making worlds up out of words.

As a migrant to Amsterdam, I know how valuable finding a community of writers can be. ​I want to create opportunities for writers to meet outside of classes, to share their work on stage to supportive audiences, have drinks with new writer friends, and gain valuable insights into the industry with guest speakers and Q&A sessions. My hope is that these events will spark new ideas and new connections.
